Rhinoplasty in Kalamazoo at Parkway Plastic Surgery
Rhinoplasty is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. If you’re unhappy with the size or shape of your nose or other characteristics and feel that is does not balance with your other facial features, rhinoplasty may be right for you.
Rhinoplasty, or surgery of the nose, is a surgical procedure intended to change the size of the nose, the steep of the nose, the shape or size of the nostrils, the shape of the bridge or tip, or the angle between the nose and the upper lip. It is done to correct birth defects, repair nasal injuries, and help relieve breathing issues.
Rhinoplasty surgery is customized for each patient depending on their needs and wishes. Surgery to improve nasal breathing (septoplasty) is often performed at the time of rhinoplasty and is commonly covered by insurance as is rhinoplasty for correction of traumatic defects. Rhinoplasty for correction of congenital nasal shape is not often covered by insurance, however.
